Professor Ullian, who spent most of his academic career at Washington University, St. Louis (where he was emeritus), worked in logic, philosophy of mathematics, and philosophy of language, and was probably best-known for his co-authored book with Quine, The Web of Belief (2nd ed., 1978). Comments are open for remembrances from those who knew Professor Ullian or for those who wish to comment on the significance of his work.
