MOVING TO FRONT FROM NOVEMBER 20--THE PROBLEM WITH HOW MEDIANS WERE DISPLAYING HAS BEEN FIXED
This was clearly a specialty where evaluators had divided views about what was most important and which programs were best: thus the "Group 1" programs had a rounded mean score of 4.0. As before, higher or lower medians and modes give some idea of how divided opinion was. I list the top two groupings; all programs with at least a rounded mean of 3.0 will appear in the full PGR. Evaluators are listed below the fold.
Let me add--and this applies to all the specialty rankings--is that they provide students with a quick way to identify programs that may be good fits, but I would not advise picking a program to attend based on a difference between, e.g., Group 1 and Group 2. Meet faculty, learn more about their research, assess the program environment, then choose without regard to any differences here.
