"Women, Peace and Security Index"

This report is interesting.  The metrics include years of education for women, employment, cellphone use, parliamentary representation, absence of legal discrimination, access to justice, maternal mortality ratio, community safety, and political violence targeting women.  Only one Asian country makes the top 20 (Singapore), although Japan is in the top 25, and the U.S. ranks 37!
