Pathological liar Alex Jones faces $1 billion dollar judgment for his defamation of parents of Sandy Hook victims

That sounds about right, although he's also trying to conceal his assets in bankruptcy.   This is a case where one wished that the U.S., like many European countries, had criminal defamation statutes, so that this venal and disturbed individual could at least be sent to prison.
