How are all the faculty changes since last year's PGR surveys likely to affect the rankings? I don't think changes in the top 11 are likely (although there were some movements in and out), but after that, I'd estimate the "top 25" would look something like this given senior moves/retirements in the interim:
12. Stanford University
13. Columbia University
13. University of Texas, Austin
15. City University of New York Graduate Center
15. University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
15. University of Notre Dame
18. University of California, San Diego
19. Brown University
19. Cornell University
19. University of Chicago
22. University of California, Irvine
22. University of Wisconsin, Madison
24. Johns Hopkins University
24. Ohio State University
24. University of Arizona
24. Washington University, St. Louis
Beyond that, I suspect BU will drop due to Griswold's retirement, but remain in the top 50.
A few changes in the specialty rankings (an incomplete list): with Guyer's impending retirement now official, Brown will no longer be a good choice for Kant (unless they replace him with someone of comparable stature); Texas should now be on the map for Chinese philosophy, UC San Diego for ancient, NYU for feminist philosophy, and Johns Hopkins for philosophy of science and physics, among others.
