The media, which always rushes to judgment, has declared the victory of a Republican in the election for Governor in Virginia as being due to his running against "critical race theory" in the schools. Maybe that's right, the evidence so far is thin on the ground. Unmentioned is that the Republican was running against the awful Terry Mcauliffe, a Democratic machine politician from the Clinton era who, like Bill and Hilary Clinton, stands for nothing but opportunism and some socially liberal attitudes. Despite running against a weak candidate, the Republican barely won.
Anyway, all this reminds me that I meant to write something about the CRT Scare, which is really a DiAngelo-Kendi scare (twose two simple-minded grifters are a different matter), rather than what some legal academics called critical race theory. Soon!
