I was very sorry to learn on Facebook of the untimely death of Professor White, a moral philosopher recently tenured at Northwestern University. (He died of complications following heart surgery.) Philosopher Jennifer Lackey at Northwestern is raising money to establish a scholarship or prize in his honor.
