Bill to eliminate tenure advances in Iowa legislature

If this is actually enacted, two things might happen:  either the exodus from the University of Iowa and Iowa State University will force the legislature to change course; or other legislatures in benighted states will follow suit.    Tenure, like all forms of job security, is obviously out of sync with the neoliberal ideology that has ruled us since Reagan.
