2020, a record-breaking year on the blog

There were more than 3.7 million visits to the blog in 2020--a record--and nearly 4.6 million page views (not a record, but higher than the prior year).  This was all the more notable given my blogging hiatus last July.   Thanks, dear readers, for your continued interest.   And extra thanks to the many of you who send links and lend your expertise as well:  your help and advice makes it possible to keep the blog going while still doing my real job!   I wish all of you a fruitful, healthy, and interesting 2021.
