Christian List (decision theory, philosophy of action, philosophy of social science), Professor of Philosophy and Political Science at the London School of Economics, and Laura Valentini (political philosophy), Professor of Philosophy, Politics & Economics at King's College London, have both accepted senior offers from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, to start in early 2021. Valentini will hold a Chair in Philosophy and Political Theory, while List will hold a Chair in Philosophy and Decision Theory, and become a co-director of the well-known Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy, along with Professors Hannes Leitgeb and Stephan Hartmann. It's fair to say that LMU Munich is clearly the leading center for analytic philosophy, especially its formal dimensions, on the European Continent.
