MOVING TO THE FRONT FROM OCTOBER 27--UPDATED
Professor Morton's work ranged widely across epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of the emotions and other areas. He taught in the 1970s at Princeton University, where he also took his PhD, and then for more than two decades at the University of Bristol, and then held a Canada Reserch Chair at the University of Alberta and taught as a visitor at the University of British Columbia through much of the 2010s. You can learn more about him and his work at his personal page. I will add links to memorial notices as they appear.
UPDATE: A very nice memorial from the UBC department. (Thanks to Dominic McIver Lopes for the pointer.)
