MOVING TO FRONT FROM MARCH 13: UPDATED
...but what counts as "respitatory disease"? Clearly something like emphysema or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, but what about asthma (or different kinds of asthma)? On that, I've heard different opinions. Does anyone know? Links welcome.
UPDATE: Some time in the last week, it appears, the CDC added "moderate to severe asthma" as a risk factor for "serious illness" from COVID-19. That's obviously unhappy news for many people, but all the more reason for those with moderate or severe asthma to take extra precautions. I note that the CDC also lists extremel obesity (BMI greater than 40) as a risk factor, probably because of the pressure weight places on the lungs, but I don't know if that's the reason.
