This unusual Southern rock band, that never made it as big as Lynyrd Skynyrd or the Allmann Brothers or (a bit later) Molly Hatchet, featured three guitars (put to good use on this instrumental) and one of the strangest voices in rock 'n' roll history, that of frontman Jim "Dandy" Magnum. Here they are performing the lead track from their best and most successful album, 1973's High on the Hog:
