Meanwhile, in the unreal "real" world, Trump fires the FBI director who was investigating him...

...and now even Republicans are calling for an independent investigation of Trump's Russia ties.  This may be the beginning of the end for Trump (hopefully not for the rest of us, though)--once the Republicans start to flip on him openly, impeachment can't be far away.

UPDATE:  Some useful background.  So now Trump has antagonized the entire FBI, in addition to his previous antagonization of the entire federal judiciary.   Fortunately for us, he really is very imprudent.
