Reader Richard Elliott kindly flagged this Australian psychedelic/hard rock/blues band formed in Sydney in 1970, which never really made it outside the homeland (though the bassist had a rather successful career working with others). You'll hear echoes of Cream in this great tune from their debut album (and, indeed, they also did a cover of Cream's "Politician"):
