Brit Brogaard (Miami) asked me to post the following message from her about the future of the PGR, which I am happy to do:
(1) We are still trying to find a new co-editor to work on the next PGR, for 2017-18. Brian, as he reported, did decline to consider the possibility. The PGR, as I discovered, is a lot of work, and I will need a new co-editor.
(2) I hope to constitute an advisory and transitional committee for the PGR going forward, but I am not sure when. I’d like to do it in consultation with a new co-editor. Given how far off the next PGR is, there is no urgency.
(3) I have invited all members of the 2014-15 Advisory Board to continue to serve as Nominating Editors, on the model of Philosopher’s Annual: i.e., they will nominate evaluators. With a new co-editor, I will constitute a new Advisory Board to work on future reports, though I expect we will invite some of those from Brian's Advisory Board given how much experience and knowledge is represented there.
