Another 13% thought epistemology "useful when informed by the cognitive and empirical sciences," while a mere 3% described epistemology as a "minor area of research." 15% expressed no love for epistemology, choosing the option that described epistemology as "armchair bullshit and irrelevant puzzles" of no interest to anyone other than some professional philosophers.
