Anja Jauernig (Kant, early modern philosophy, philosophy of science), currently Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh, has accepted a senior offer from the Department of Philosophy at New York University, where she will start in January 2015. With other recent senior appointmens (Dorr & Moss from Oxford, Hopkins from Sheffield), this will only solidify NYU's position as the strongest and broadest department in the Anglophone world.
