A statement from U of Colorado female faculty in the Philosophy Department

Here; I would highlight one bit in particular:

We faculty women strongly believe that none of our currently untenured male colleagues or current male graduate students has engaged in sexual misconduct (nor, indeed, have most of our tenured colleagues).

UPDATE:  A related article from a Boulder newspaper.  I have heard multiple reports about what's going on in Boulder, and it is pretty clear that the offenders (and there were real offenders) were all tenured faculty:  at least two, at most four (two were clearly involved in sexual harassment).  I have to chat with my lawyer about naming them here, but putting that issue to one side, the female faculty are to be commended for stepping forward to exonerate, correctly, the untenured faculty and the graduate students from any suspicion in the wake of the publicizing of the report.

ADDENDUM:  I am not going to be posting any names at this time, partly due to liability issues, partly due to additional factual complications about who has done what.
