In the waning days of the campaign, all sides will be watching to see where the philosophy vote is going. UPDATE 10/29: So with about 1300 votes since yesterday, Obama carries the philosophy vote with 65%, Jill Stein, the Green candidate, garners 9%, Romney the Republican gets 7%, and the Libertarian, Gary Johnson, picks up just 3%. 1% are voting for yet another candidate, while 15% do not plan on voting. I guess this lopsided victory explains why so few ads have targetted the philosophy vote this season.
FINAL UPDATE: The poll is now closed. With over 1800 votes cast, 65% support President Obama; 9% support Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate; 7% support Republican challenger Mitt Romney; and 3% support Libertarian Gary Johnson. 1% support some other candidate, while 14% do not plan on voting.
