Asbjørn Steglich-Petersen, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, has been awarded a DFF Starting Grant worth approximately 1.5 millions U.S. dollars to direct a four-year research project on the epistemology of modality, which will support six full-time project members, including two PhD students. Of the 33 awards this year, only four (including this one) were in humanities fields. There is a description of the Sapere Aude program (under which this grant falls) in English here and an announcement of this year's awards (in Danish) here.
