UWO Makes Bid for Minnesota's Waters (UPDATED)

MOVING TO FRONT FROM FEBRUARY 22, 2011--SEE UPDATE

The Department of Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario has voted to offer the Rotman Chair to C. Kenneth Waters, a leading philosopher of biology at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis-St. Paul.  Students considering UWO and Minnesota will want to keep a close eye on what happens.

UPDATE:  Professor Waters has accepted a counter-offer from Minnesota, so will decline the Rotman Chair.
