Manning, currently being tortured by the U.S. government for leaking documents to Wikileaks, is reading, among other things, Kant's Critique of Practical Reason. Kant's notorious moral rigidity would probably lead him to condemn Manning's actions--what think my Kant scholar or moral philosophy readers? (Thanks to Joshua Harwood for the pointer.)
