John Tasioulas, Reader in Moral and Legal Philosophy and CUF Lecturer in Philosophy at Oxford University, has accepted appointment as the Quain Chair in Jurisprudence on the law faculty at University College London, beginning January 2011. That's a very good appointment for UCL, which had some difficulty filling the Quain Chair after the retirement of William Twining.
