The only good news is that the case has now been remanded back to the 7th Circuit, which may yet find a way to sustain some, albeit not all, of the sensible gun regulations. Chicago and Oak Park will also, as I understand it, enact new regulations designed to achieve the same objectives, but less likely to run afoul of the new rule laid down by the super-legislature known as the U.S. Supreme Court.
