Georgetown Makes Bid for South Florida's Kukla--SEE UPDATE

MOVING TO FRONT FROM MARCH 27--SEE UPDATE

Rebecca Kukla (social epistemology, bioethics, philosophy of language, feminist philosophy, 18th-century philosophy), Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Florida, has a senior offer from the Department of Philosophy at Georgetown University.  Students considering either program with interests in these areas will want to keep an eye on what happens.

UPDATE:  Professor Kukla has accepted a half-time appointment at Georgetown, where she will teach each Spring.  In the Falls, she will continue as Professor of Philosophy at South Florida.
