The Health Care Bill--Probably is Better than Nothing

Here's the case, cleanly stated.  (Thanks to Craig Duncan for the pointer.)  Hope it's right!  Although only mentioned in passing in the linked article, the need for the Democrats to have some legislative achievements, such as they are, may be important to preventing a Republican resurgence.  Since the Republican Party is now fully the party of sociopaths, villains, religious zealots, and crazies, any return to power would be frightening.  (I am still wondering when the libertarians will notice?)
