Friday Poem: "Immortality"

Immortality

No one among them had died for years
Or thought they hadn't
Perhaps that explains
The people they had killed

Thinking: I cannot die
                We cannot die
                Only they can die

It does not matter
That we may deserve to die

We will not allow it
