Max de Gaynesford (philosophy of language and mind, Wittgenstein, phenomenology), currently an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the College of William & Mary, has accepted an offer from the Department of Philosophy at the University of Reading (where he earned his doctorate in 1997). Meanwhile, the political philosopher Andrew Williams at Reading has accepted a professorial post in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Warwick.
