In Memoriam, Sir Peter Strawson

The great Twentieth Century philosopher, former Waynflete Chair of Metaphysical Philosophy at Oxford University, and author of (among many other papers and books), "On Referring", "Freedom and Resentment", Introduction to Logical Theory, Individuals, and Bounds of Sense, died on Monday at the age of 86.
