Kevin Hoover, an economist at the University of California at Davis who has also written extensively on issues in the philosophy of economics, has accepted a senior offer from Duke University (to start this fall), where he will be half in Economics and half in Philosophy. In Philosophy, he will join Alexander Rosenberg, thus solidifying Duke's position as the leading center for work in philosophy of economics in the U.S.
