Political Philosopher Josh Cohen from MIT to Stanford...

At Stanford, Cohen will join his former student, the political philosopher Debra Satz, which will certainly make Stanford a quite attractive choice for students of political philosophy.  Cohen's appointment, strengthening as it does Stanford's visibility in value theory (an area of relative weakness previously), may also push Stanford into the overall top five in the U.S. in next year's surveys. 

Professor Cohen tells me that he will continue to co-edit the stimulating Boston Review, which will also continue to be a Boston-based publication.
