Tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 12), we're having an all-day conference on the topic "Methodology in Jurisprudence," with papers by Liam Murphy (NYU), Nicos Stavropoulos (Oxford), and Benjamin Zipursky (Fordham), and commentary by Leslie Green (York/Texas) and two of our Ph.D. students, Stephen Bero and Michael Sevel. Those interested in this topic--perhaps the most lively topic of debate in recent jurisprudential writing--ought to take a look at the very good "state of the art" essay on "Methodology" by Julie Dickson (Law, Oxford) in the September issue of Legal Theory. Unfortunately, it's not on-line, but any law school library should have it.
In any event, don't expect much new here before the weekend.
UPDATE: Reader Adam Hill points out to me that institutional subscribers can access the Dickson article on-line here.
