UPDATE: I have to give my friend Stuart Benjamin (Law, Duke) credit for posting the results of the above study over at the right-wing Volokh Conspiracy site. But I suspect Stuart's in-box is now filled with unlovely screeds.
ANOTHER UPDATE: For amusement, do see how two of Stuart's right-wing co-bloggers (here and here) respond to the documentation of the breathtaking ignorance of Bush supporters: they assure us, without evidence, that non-Republicans are just as ignorant. Maybe. Or maybe not.
