Doom?

It's after midnight on the East Coast, after 11 pm in Texas. Bush has won Florida, Kerry has won Pennsylvania, every other state has been predictable. Ohio is leaning towards Bush. Kerry's lead in Michigan, Minneosta, Wisconsin, Iowa is rather alarmingly modest.

Of course, this is all on the assumption that votes are being counted. Perhaps they are. Perhaps not. How many hairs were on Caesar's head the day Brutus stabbed him? We shall never know.
